Ever since I was a child, I was fascinated with the hands behind the living spaces we occupy, and how they bring them to life. While I did not enroll in architecture school, this fascination continued and soon turned into somewhat of a calling. It is a restless passion of mine to turn visions to reality and transform brush strokes from paper to tangible textures, and let me tell you, it is no easy feat. The way I see it, building interiors is the culmination of the creative process and an integral part of it. In fact, if I were to summarize my work in three words, it would be this: creative problem solving.

Every new project I engage in, I start at the very beginning, going from the big picture all the way to the tiniest details. To simplify the process, my job is to reconcile the designer's vision and all the different ways I could execute it with the actual built space and the financial imperative. There is no one-size-fits-all solution. That is the real thrill behind every project I undertake. There isn't a single dull or boring moment when dealing with the challenges that arise during construction. I feel like I am constantly learning and growing, and always improving.

Given the perfectionist that I am, I give overwhelming attention to every single detail. There is a certain melody to how the multitude of materials and surfaces fit together to create an appealing space. The proper symmetries, the right proportions and the rich materials can only be appreciated when their finest of details are perfected. That is the principle I so religiously follow to bring drawings to life. That is my craft. And as one might realize, this labor requires considerable amounts of time and energy. That is precisely why I choose to undertake only one or two projects at a time, just so I can give each the attention it deserves. Each home improvement project I engage in becomes very much a passion project to me. In fact, being entrusted to build someone's living space is at once a great responsibility and a true privilege because it gives me a new opportunity to live out my childhood dream.
