Normwood started its business in the world of wooden work/craftsmanship back in 2018 aiming to deliver exceptional quality products to support the industry of interior design, product design, and furniture design to help designers deliver their projects at their highest quality.

The Process

Through continuous practices, research, and development, Normwood has successfully initiated many experimental design simulations processes to figure out the best way of dealing with every project, from the early stages of receiving the design and its specifications including the budgeting, optimization and fabrication technique to the products installation or delivery on site.

Each wooden artwork starts with a full vision of selecting the needed customized process to achieve the desired outcome in terms of exceptionality, aesthetics, and uniqueness.

“Currently, as our business is growing and our clients’ directory expands to cover many successful designers and design companies, we started to expand our operational capabilities, and enrich our team with professionals and experts to manage the demand. Normwood is now operating with the highest efficiency in its 1500 SQM factory that performs efficiently with the latest tools and techniques to cover the whole manufacturing process in-house to guarantee quality and productivity in a timely manner. 

And recently, Normwood started to deal with a B2C approach by providing customized designs for kitchens, dressing rooms, and outdoor furniture to fulfill the needs of our customers.

About Ramy Mamdouh

Ramy, Managing Director of Normwood, is an expert architect who graduated from the faculty of Fine Arts in 2007. He is the Co-Founder of Ldp+Partners, one of the leading architectural and engineering consultants in the MENA region, with a wide experience in the field of design and construction. 

Ramy initiated Normwood after deep research about wood with all its types and manufacturers, accessories, machinery, and the latest technologies to be able to raise the standards of wooden fabrications in the local market by providing high-end customized wooden products, making every project or a piece of furniture an image of what it was designed for. Ramy’s background facilitates the creation of a common platform for understanding what the designer needs to deliver in terms of look and feel. This distinguishes Normwood and gives the designers great confidence while dealing with it.
